Book recommendations on cellular automata?
There's a Cellular Automata and Groups by Ceccherini-Silberstein in Springer Monographs in Mathematics. It's self-contained and introduce the CA with group theory.

Amann, Analysis I, II, III
Both original German version, and English translation.
It contains most important things 'all-in-one', really comfortable to read.
