It is well-known that there is a relationship between music and mathematics, and there are many books on the topic (for example, Benson's). However, I would like to ask if there is any current research going on between the relationship between mathematics and music which produced results significative to the development of mathematics (other than to the development). In case, where can I find a comprehensive survey paper of such results?
