I am retired full professor from the Politecnco di Milano in Italy. My field is/was probability and stochastic processes. Since moving to the US, I have been mostly involved in teaching at the University of Washington, Western Washington University, and, more recently, mostly in Community Colleges in the Seattle area. I keep a few research projects in my burner, but have a lot less chances to talk about them with colleagues. This looks like a really good place to get some of the good interactive feeling back :)
