Born in Moscow, Ms from the Applied Math. Department of Moscow Institute for Railway Engineers 1979, joined a phd by correspondence program at Moscow State University under the advisorship of V.Arnold in 1985, failed on my defense in Moscow in 1989. Defended a new thesis in Stockholm in 1990. 1-year visting position at UW-Madison, after that permanently at Stockholm University. At present around 90 publications in different areas in mathematics. Main interests in Schubert calculus, linear differential equations and commutative algebra.
