I received my Ph.D. in mathematics in 2001 under John Morgan at Columbia University, in the field of 4-dimensional topology and supersymmetric quantum field theory. I am now a Senior Research Scientist at Language Weaver, a Los Angeles-based software company that sells machine translation products and services, and helps the world communicate. I do R&D in the field of statistical machine translation.
