I am a professor of Computer Science at Otago University. I have been leader of the New Zealand Maths Olympiad team on a number of occasions, and remain active in the NZ Maths Olympiad Committee. My research areas are primarily the combinatorics of permutations, and combinatorial game theory, but I have dabbled in many other subjects.
