Jul 16, 2023 at 18:49 comment added Z. M The term "$\infty$-categories" is usually referring to $(\infty,1)$-categories, i.e. all $k$-cells are invertible for $k>1$. General 2-categories are way more complicated due to the non-invertibility of 2-cells.
