(What is cohesive is the topos of sheaves on the subcategory of loci of the form a smooth manifold times an infinitesimally thickened point -- formal manifolds --, this is the "Cahier topos" ncatlab.org/nlab/show/Cahiers+topos .) Sheaves on all loci is a "smooth topos", though, a model for synthetic differential geometry. There are two different threads in thinking here which are related but different, "cohesion" and "synthetic differential geometry". | |
