I am a permanent researcher in the department Algebra, Geometry and Mathematical Physics of the Institute of Mathematics at the Czech Academy of the Sciences (CAS) in Prague, but have been on perpetual academic leave at New York University, in Abu Dhabi, where I am a member of the Center for Quantum and Topological Systems. My degree is in theoretical physics.
