I am a mathematician fascinated by problems in probability theory, ergodic theory, mathematical analysis, and theoretical computer science. I have published research in those areas, and in particular on topics such as fractals and Hausdorff measure, random walks, Brownian motion, percolation and Markov chain mixing times.
I was awarded the Rollo Davidson Prize in 1995 and the Loève Prize in 2001.In 2016, I was elected a foreign associate of the National Academy of Sciences; See http://nationalacademyofsciences.org/member-directory/members/20022807.html and https://www.pnas.org/content/115/39/9646. A survey of my research is at http://bulletin.imstat.org/2016/11/profile-yuval-peres/

My research papers are listed in https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=yfORTKUAAAAJ&hl=en and most of them are available on the arxiv. I have advised 22 Ph.D students. See http://yuvalperes.com/ for more information on my books and publications, and my expositions and riddles site http://yuvalperes.com/Math-Expo/
