I operate a scientific and statistical consultancy with particular emphasis on mathematical, statistical and computational modeling to support decision-making. I bring to this work an intensely empirical focus grounded in the critical rationalism and evolutionary epistemology of such philosophers as Karl Popper and Donald T. Campbell, and enriched by an abiding belief in the practical importance of theoretically-driven advances in computing and statistical methodology.
Beyond this work, my broader interests include the social determinants of health, the integrity of social science research, and the democratization of medical knowledge.
