Yes, I tried that and it works, turns out if you plot this with one an Anchor you get an entire circle of solutions, with 2 Anchor points you get 2 solutions, and with 3 Anchor points the graph of this cost function becomes convex and you get a single minima. Thank You for your help
What if I add more information i.e. increase the number of measurements I obtain at each time step. What I mean is, at this moment I have a 1x1 y, as shown above. What if my y becomes 2x1 or 3x1 i.e. Euclidean distance between x and several known/ Anchor coordinates. Would this extra information help distinguish between the several x ?
Is there some sort of regularisation that I could employ to give some extra information regarding x so that I could direct this optimization in the right direction?
