I'm one terrible dude no one likes. This is perhaps because my name is Muhammad Zafrullah. Beyond that, what's there to know? Of course why the heck should you care? You would probably like to know if I have written any papers or if I have taught some place. For that the place to look is my vita which is at: http://www.lohar.com/generalpdf/vita.pdf
After Iowa City, I was at Boise (BSU) for a bit, but fell ill in the middle of the semester and to date that seems to be the end of my teaching career. I am under the impression that I am affiliate faculty at Idaho State University, Pocatello. It seems this designation is reserved for those academics who did not teach long enough, to be emeritus something, but are deemed too old to be teaching.) It's renewable every year which I often forget. But the guys at ISU are very kind. When I found out that there was no hope for me left for making a name in Mathematics, being Muhammad Zafrullah, I went crazy. (Imagine what would happen to you when you find that folks who worked, with you later, on the notions you developed are now fellows of the AMS and some flying macaques are trying to poke fun at your work, in print.) I spent some time fighting it out on the Google group sci.math. It was interesting. I have at least one fatal error on my record, for which I apologized. Then I thought of trying my hand at writing, you know blogs essays. But after a number of mishaps with my blog at Open Salon, they did it to everyone but I took it personally, I am beginning to think that perhaps I am so bad that some folks do not want to read what I have written. So, you may consider my writing ambitions history. I still like to think that I can do math and end up doing some. But hey I have to be interested in a problem to think up some trick to solve it. I have been constantly hounded at stackexchange by some folks, often with silly alternatives to my suggestions and solutions (e.g user 26857, who leaves a derogatory comment and, seeing my response, deletes it). A coauthor apparently chickened out when it came to writing a corrigendum and then sang and ratted on me (same nationality as the fellow who chases me around on stackexchange!). Now that some folks have started poking fun at my work while stealing from it, I am beginning to think that it’s my name that makes people think that if they stole from me no one would bother to check them. Well I am old and very ill, very close to death. But I am the same old Muhammad Zafrullah, I will put up a fight and if I die, meet you in hell World.
