I have questions that I don't know if they are the same question. So I was not sure how to formulate my orignial question. Let's say that I know that "if CH+ZFC implies Goldbach and ZFC is consistent, then Goldbach is true". I don't know if this is the same thing as "if CH+ZFC implies Goldbach and ZFC is consistent then there is a formal derivation of Goldbach in ZFC."
Thank you. Is it the same thing to say that "if ZFC is consistent, then some first order formula is true" and "there is a formal deriviation of this first order formula in ZFC"?
