I am a software quality assurance engineer in real life, which I love. My first entry into coding was learning Amiga Basic. After graduate school, I aimed to be a software developer, but I've learned that I enjoy and succeed at Software QA more.
Learning how to code as a teenager deeply affected my approach to mathematics as a student at the University of Utah Department of Mathematics (BS, MS). While I have little formal training in the Foundations of Mathematics, I have a deep and abiding interest in the Foundations of Mathematics, especially those topics related to Primitive Recursive Arithmetic concerning discrete/combinatorial/concrete symbolic mathematics that could ideally be implemented on a computer.
I love mathematics as a language to converse in and think with and as a way to formulate questions and communicate.
