Professor Michael Atiyah shares some personal recollections on Whitehead and his pigs at <A HREF="https://www.maths.ox.ac.uk/node/903">Oxford Mathematics Interviews.</A> At the 2 minute mark Atiyah mentions the photograph of Whitehead with a pig: *"You wouldn't have thought of him as a mathematician"*.
