At a workshop it was suggested that it likely remains an open problem whether or not there is a 3- <strike>or 2</strike> -piece <a href="http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Dissection.html">dissection</a> of a square to an equilateral triangle. Can anyone confirm that this is unresolved?
