Let $S_{\Bbb N}$ is the countable symmetric group of all finite permutations of the naturals and $A_{\Bbb N}$ --- corresponding alternating group. To describe all maximal subgroups of its of type $S_{\Bbb N}$. Is it possible to obtain the answer from well-known answers on the same question for the finite case?
