If you're interested in seeing this in the context of algebraic geometry, you should check "Fundamental Algebraic Geometry: Grothendieck's FGA explained", by Fantechi et al. The first part of this book is a self contained but still quick intro to these topics (Gorthendieck topologies, fibered categories, descent theory, and stacks.)
