It couldn't be resolved with the number of iterations that I was using (it does require a lot of interations). I was even beginning to doubt that there was any and, maybe, that the mode locking at 3/14 was an exception. That is, until I came up with the theoretical argument above that you get mode-locking at every rational number p/q with q not a multiple of 3. It just requires you to zoom in much further than possible with the level of accuracy I was using. | |
