I think I didn't really understand what continuity did and didn't do until I understood why the approximate version didn't imply the full version, constructively. It's a little embarrassing to admit that I didn't get high-school mathematics, but only a little: high-school mathematics is some of the greatest mathematics (in Whitehead's sense) ever created. | |
