Sep 8, 2011 at 1:11 comment added Yemon Choi Kevin: I was told by my supervisor that -ise versus -ize is something to do with how French-ified one wants one's English to be. The rule of thumb I learned for UK English is that one may as well consistently use -ize unless it really looks wrong.
