However, for a person like me who doesn't work directly in functional analysis but by the nature of his business (dynamical systems) needs often quickly to refresh his memory I warmly recommend Zimmer's book. Probably an appropriate title for the book would be a "Functional Analysis for a working mathematician". It should be on everybody shelf. | |
