Since A is a smooth subalgebra of A, I think more is needed in order to encode some notion of NC manifold... (If you want slightly less fatuous examples, then take something like $\ell^1({\mathbb Z})$ viewed as a dense *-subalgebra of $C^*({\mathbb Z})\cong C({\mathbb T})$.) | |
