For example, $\sum_{i<j} x_i x_j b_{ij}$, where $b_{ij}$ is the "band generator" where strings $i$ and $j$ cross once positively behind the other strings. Do you know more about the answer to the question now? (I'd be interested in the answer, again in type $A$, but haven't found it using Google.) | |
