I didn't read the question carefully enough to see that it was an undergraduate course, and was thinking of how to structure a graduate course. In general, I don't think that most undergraduates can really appreciate a proof that can't be presented in <= 30 minutes, so long multi-lecture chains of reasoning are not a good idea. | |
