I think the value of the integral is even 31/20 and not 49/40, or I'm making a mistake. (Note that the integrand is only strictly positive for x such that -1/2 < x < 5/2 and then it's the sum 0.05 + 0.5 + 1 = 31/20). In either case, this is indeed larger than 1! | |
