Oct 4 at 17:30 comment added Brian I learned a new LaTeX skill today! I appreciate you for sharing, Dr. Hardy!
Oct 4 at 17:27 comment added Michael Hardy If the thing you called $\mathcal C\backslash X$ is supposed to be $\mathcal C$ with a removed object called $X$, then it should be written as $\mathcal C\setminus X$ or $\mathcal C\smallsetminus X.$ The backslash that you used lacks horizontal spacing appropriate to a binary operation symbol. The thing that makes one font look good while another looks bad is a lot of little details like this that readers usually don't notice, but they notice that one font looks good and another looks bad. (I replaced it with $\mathcal C\smallsetminus X.$)
