Mar 31 at 16:27 comment added Sam Hopkins Giving one full proof and sketching the alternative proof is also an option (not necessarily the best!), and something I do recall seeing done relatively often. Often the full proof is some concrete calculation, and the sketch is an appeal to some high-tech machinery (or possibly a combination of multiple pieces of machinery).
