For instance, let $A_1^\pm$ be all the reduced words beginning with $a^{\pm1}$, let $A_2^\pm$ be all the reduced words beginning with $ba^{\pm1}$, and so on... (These correspond to the complementary components of the geodesic I mentioned in my comment above.)
