Apr 5, 2023 at 8:54 comment added Ken.Wong Thank you for the answer. So one can prove JC by working in $\mathbb{R}$ first, resticting $N$ to be nilpotent in $\mathbb{R}$, then generalise the result to $\mathbb{C}$?
