Feb 5, 2023 at 15:10 comment added Sergey Guminov I also recommend Aluffi's Algebra: Chapter 0. I solved pretty much every exercise when I was starting out in algebra, and though that's probably overkill, I don't feel like solving any on them had been a waste.

My recollections of the book were that it was good but a little eccentric (e.g. look at the exercise on homological algebra). There some other choices, such as Dummit and Foote (sp?), that might work for you as well
