Jan 7, 2023 at 23:02 comment added Alec Rhea You could generate an ‘average data set for a region’ by averaging past decades of relevant meterological datasets, then test your model against these ‘average conditions’ to try to convince people. If your model holds up well for the average, try extreme conditions, etc., to see how far you can push it. (if it doesn’t hold up well to ‘average conditions’, maybe don’t advocate for it’s usage in controlling floods :^)

Maybe my questions are so dumb that none of them considered them worthy of their time! But I don't intend to give up after coming this far...
