Sep 2, 2022 at 1:29 comment added Danielle Ulrich It is apparently open whether or not every Polish group admits Polishable (hence Borel) subgroups of arbitrarily high Borel rank, but this is known for abelian Polish groups (Hjorth, "Subgroups of Abelian Polish Groups.") That proof is definitely not uniform
