Jul 6, 2022 at 10:11 comment added David Loeffler Nitpick about the statement of the question: you write "$M \cong \mathbb{T}^2$ where $\cong$ denotes biholomorphism", but this is not well-defined; we know what $\mathbb{T}^2$ is as a real manifold, but there are uncountably many non-isomorphic ways of endowing that real manifold with a Riemann-surface structure (classified by the $j$-invariant).
