Jun 24, 2022 at 2:11 | comment | added | David Ben-Zvi | The question of how to pass from a TQFT in the physics sense as in KW (here a twisted SUSY QFT, with a differential that makes variation of metric exact) to functorial extended TFT in the Atiyah-Segal-Lawrence-Freed-Baez-Dolan-Lurie-.. style is a good one but separate (the Kapustin ICM address is a good introduction from a physicist's POV). One useful inroad (though not the original one)is to consider not just partition functions but the collection of all defects of different dimensions and their interfaces.

Jun 23, 2022 at 21:23 | comment | added | Jules Lamers | This is a good illustration of why one should compound authors using an en-dash (Kapustin--Witten) and leave single dashes for compound names (Ben-Zvi) ;)
