Relative Ext groups and absolute Ext groups are both cases of Ext groups relative to an allowable class: for this, see Mac Lane "Homology" chapter IX. The Ext spectral sequence induced by change of allowable class appears in Prop. 4.1 of tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/00927872.2015.1085995 (arxiv version here: arxiv.org/abs/1501.01389v1 ) but probably also in other places, since it's a straightforward construction. | |
