Feb 11, 2022 at 22:51 comment added François Brunault A remark: the Mignotte bound gives an upper bound for the size of any factor of a polynomial in $\mathbb{Z}[x]$ depending only on its degree and the size of the coefficients, see also here. The proof uses the Mahler measure. This bound is exponential in the degree.
