Feb 7, 2022 at 22:57 comment added Zhen Lin Actually, Wraith already gave in [1979, Generic Galois theory of local rings] a conjectural description of fppf-local rings. I vaguely remember seeing the Gabber–Kelly paper and thinking at the time that it still falls short of proving Wraith's conjecture because it only works for integral domains.
