Oct 25, 2021 at 14:28 comment added Yuan Yang @PiotrAchinger On Wikipedia, it says that "The moduli stack of elliptic curves is a smooth separated Deligne–Mumford stack of finite type over $spec(\mathbb{Z})$". So in dim 1, it is actually Deligne-Mumford?
