Jul 25, 2021 at 5:43 comment added Victor Thank you @NoahSchweber, now I have access to the article, and I think this is just what I'm looking for :) Time to read
Jul 24, 2021 at 21:22 comment added Noah Schweber I fixed the link in the post you mention.
Jul 24, 2021 at 16:04 comment added Chris Leary @TomLeinster - Nothing like a little controversy (even if tongue-in-cheek) to spur interest in something. Well done.
Jul 24, 2021 at 15:40 comment added Tom Leinster @AndrejBauer Awodey and Bauer's notes should be banned. They are scandalous, morally lax, and a dangerously corrupting influence on the young people of today. (Is that helping, Andrej?)

Jul 16, 2021 at 17:03 comment added Andrej Bauer @VictorRafael: Mike Shulman has some notes on categorical logic and so do Steve Awodey and I. Ours are supposed to be unpublished but if you google for "Bauer Awodey Categorical logic" the will appear. Perhaps I should try to take those down and rely on the Streisand effect to get popular.
Jul 16, 2021 at 16:59 comment added Victor @NoahSchweber It's true. In saying the link between analysis and category theory I was refering to Smooth infinitesimal analysis.
Jul 16, 2021 at 16:33 comment added YCor @VictorRafael this Amazon link might be broken at some point, so it can be useful to provide some info: The continuous, the discrete and the infinitesimal in philosophy and mathematics, by John L. Bell.
Jul 16, 2021 at 16:32 comment added Noah Schweber @VictorRafael Note that there are different types of infinitesimal calculus, not all of which need category theory. The earliest fully rigorous approach was nonstandard analysis, which uses model theory instead.
Jul 16, 2021 at 16:10 comment added Victor I saw reading this book, that category theory can do impressive stuff, including make rigorous the notion of infinitesimal in Analysis! Using topos theory I think, very beautiful!
Jul 16, 2021 at 16:00 comment added Andrej Bauer The next thing you should discover is categorical logic.
