Mar 10, 2021 at 1:11 comment added Dr. Pi I think the error term might be oscillating for the unsmoothed sum, so something like $\Omega(\log^2 x )$. Perhaps the smoothed version however gives $\sim c_2 \log^2 x $.
Mar 9, 2021 at 21:31 comment added Sungjin Kim You are right. It seems very difficult to find asymptotic for the second term. This is because the error term depends on a particular solution to $lr-ms=1$.
