The application of effective descent here is standard from e.g. the proof for 0-sheaves in the case of algebraic spaces. The fact that universal effective descent for 0-sheaves plus basechange implies descent for 1-sheaves is in Giraud and in the section of SGA on universal submersions (but generalized). | |
