Sep 15, 2019 at 22:34 comment added Sheridan Grant Just want to make sure you don't actually mean inner product of u and v to have a coefficient of 2--that's how these integrals usually look because inner product of u+v with itself yields a coefficient of 2 on the middle term. This would make Iosef's answer even simpler.
