Apr 25, 2019 at 0:29 comment added Riku Or is it fair to say that if $u:\mathbb R^2 \to \mathbb R$ is a BV function then $D^{cantor}u$ must be concentrated on a $1$-dimensional Cantor set?
Apr 23, 2019 at 21:18 comment added Riku Thank you. In your example you took $g(x_1,x_2) = f(x_1)$ and $f$ the Cantor staircase function. However, I'd like to see a "genuinely" two-dimensional example. Is it possible to build a Cantor like function in 2d?
