Feb 9, 2019 at 23:59 comment added Tri I believe it was Yamamoto proved that if n is even, then M(n) is even. What can we say about n odd? Using an idea I have long forgotten, I think Ciucu and Stembridge got some data for n up to 19, with one exception (ether n=11 or n=13).
