Jul 16, 2010 at 16:41 comment added Zen Harper I would be surprised if the answer is yes (but also very pleased to see such a wonderful theorem!), since local uniform convergence on $\mathbb{C}$ is much, much stronger than on $\mathbb{R}$. However, the special form of exponentials compensates a lot for lack of complex analytic contour integration trickery; so anyway, I'm convinced that the question is interesting! I'm aiming for a counterexample though...!
