Jul 13, 2018 at 14:24 comment added Ehud Meir I usually write $K^{\alpha}G$ for the crossed product. This has a basis $U_g$ over $K$, for $g$ in the Galois group. Conjugation by $U_g$ gives you the Galois action of $G$, and $U_gU_h = \alpha(g,h)U_{gh}$.
