This was recently pointed out to me by Kameryn Williams, after I had also spent a long time not knowing who to attribute the result to. A preprint should appear very soon in which Kameryn, I, Joel Hamkins, Lukas Klausner, and Jonathan Verner improve on Mostowski's argument to embed various posets into the generic multiverse.
