Jun 3, 2018 at 23:37 | comment | added | Tom Price | I also have the hunch (but no proof) that the roots are not algebraic in general, although maybe something much weaker holds, like in certain circumstances, the transcendental roots still manage to add up to something rational (I acknowledge that, event with this information, it’s not clear how one would proceed, but it seems like this would be some progress at least). | |
